Daily Beast's Yearly Worst

If you aren't already reading The Daily Beast, you're behind the times as it is and probably really need to check out their Worst Fashion of '08 feature. I always love/hate these fashion pieces; it's hard not to be ambivalent to all the snark they entail.

I especially enjoyed their calling out of "Uggs," which I thought went out of style in about 2006... if they had ever been there to begin with. Though they "may win style points in the halls of your Orange County high school if you wear them," the Daily Beast - as well as all reasonable common sense - suggests against it:

"As with fleece-lined Crocs, comfort is not an excuse (though in 70 degree weather, how could they be?). Salvage the parts and turn them into a vest or a dog bed."

Is it just me or is uggs-dog bed the BEST COMPARISON EVER MADE OF TWO THINGS, EVER.
