One of my many public services

So I am doing a paper for one of my classes on perceptions of homosexuality amongst Turks, and most of it will be focused specifically on college students. A lot of it hasn't been terribly surprising - women are more okay in general with it then men, and both are more comfortable with queer people of the opposite gender than their own.

Also not terribly shocking, but interesting, is that the biggest factor in influencing perceptions of homosexuality is whether or not you actually know someone who is queer. So basically... my going around Turkey and meeting people is kind of like a public service for the gays! Right? I should get some kind of medal or something.

Can't wait until finals are done. Even this paper, which should be of interest to me, is driving me crazy. Need to move on from the semester, pronto.
