Electability?

If you go to Pollster and read through the state-by-state general election info, you'll find some pretty interesting gems.... Obama and Clinton each have their strong states against McCain, with Obama beating McCain but Clinton losing in states like Iowa and Colorado. But look at Nevada, Michigan, and Indiana - three states which Clinton won handily (at least in terms of state-wide popular vote.) In general election match-ups, Obama beats McCain in each one, and Clinton loses. Michigan is perhaps most astonishing, as Clinton has been pushing counting their sham election in which Obama wasn't even on the ballot and suggesting that it's an important state in Nov. which only she can win.

Yeah. Right.

True, Clinton does better in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida (the last of which I think will likely go R regardless), but these are states that have big primary wounds that haven't healed. I think we'll see Obama go up in them as the party embraces him as the nominee. Whereas if Clinton is polling down in places like MI now, she'll never be up (unless of course voters see through her attempts to use their voters as hostages in this process... her camp just rejected a plan to give her 69 delegates and Obama 59 - pretty generous for her. But she wants ALL the votes counted EVEN THOUGH HE WASN'T ON THE FUCKING BALLOT WHICH IS INSANE. She's crazy, okay?)
